The Ethernet connection is auto-negotiated 100/1000MB through redundant RJ-45 ports. The USB port is compatible with USB 1.0 and 2.0 standards and will work in USB 3.0 ports. Running more than 8 x 8 channels simultaneously will require a USB 2.0 or higher port due to the bandwidth limitations of USB 1.0.
