     The Yamaha MODX7 is a 76-key synthesizer offering multiple synthesis methods and powerful controls for musicians and producers in homes, studios, and concert venues. Its 76 keys trigger sounds from AWM2 and FM-X sound engines, which bring the same sample-based and frequency modulation synthesis technology from Yamaha's premium MONTAGE line. 4-Part Seamless Sound Switching allows held notes to continue naturally when changing performance patches.

Interactive controls include easily assignable sliders and knobs, pitch and modulation wheels, and the Super Knob—a large illuminated control that facilitates manipulation of multiple parameters simultaneously. Utilize the MODX7's Motion Sequences to rhythmically modify settings and tweak the rhythmic control data in real time. Thanks to Live Sets, you can structure your Performances without having to copy, reorder, or rename them
