The Saramonic Vmic Stereo Mark II is a on-camera stereo condenser microphone that provides broadcast-quality audio to DSLR, Mirrorless and Video Cameras. The X/Y pattern of the microphone capsules deliver detailed stereo imaging and immersive sound to your videos. The Vmic Stereo Mark II features an input level control
(-1 OdB, OdB, +20dB), a high pass filter (150 Hz) and a high-frequency boost (+6dB)to increase intelligibility of dialogue. The detachable 3.5mm cable connects the Vmic Stereo Mark II to your camera’s audio input and the stereo headphone output allows you to monitor the incoming audio. The specially designed shock mount system provides isolation from vibration and mechanical noise.

It features two high-quality cardioid capsules in a stereo X/Y configuration to allow the mic to reproduce a true stereo image in a compact camera-mount form. It also features ultralow noise electronics and versatile features that make it easy to optimize your sound for any scenario.

High-Quality Sound and Enhanced Control
The Vmic Stereo Mark II features an array of selectable audio controls allowing users to tailor the mic's sound and performance to always get optimum sound. It features a gain control with three positions—the +20 dB boost is for achieving ultraclean gain on cameras with noisy preamps, the 0 dB setting is for use with high-quality preamps, and -10 dB pad allows clean capture of loud sounds without distortion.
A 150 Hz high-pass filter eliminates low-frequency noise and rumble caused by HVAC systems, wind, or footsteps that can ruin a recording. A +6 dB high-frequency boost enhances vocal intelligibility and compensates for lost frequencies when using a furry windscreen, like the VMIC-WS-S (available separately). All the controls are easy to use and easy to see, even in low-light conditions.

Built with durable metal construction, the Vmic Stereo Mark II will handily survive the demanding world of video production. An impressively robust and virtually indestructible integrated shockmount isolates it from unwanted vibration noise and includes a camera-shoe mount with metal 1/4"-20 thread, allowing you to mount it to cameras, boompoles, stands, camera cages, and tripods with ease.
Headphone Monitoring and Expanded Connectivity
A built-in headphone output on the Vmic Stereo Mark II enables you to hear your sound, even when your camera lacks a headphone jack. Use the included short, coiled output cable to connect the main 3.5mm output jack to your camera, mixer, or recorder. Since the cable is removable, it allows use of other 3.5mm TRS output cables (available separately) in its place. Attach a longer cable for use on a boompole, use a 3.5mm to Lightning cable (Saramonic LC-C35) to connect to iPhones and iPads, or a 3.5mm to USB Type-C cable (Saramonic UTC-C35) to connect to Android smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Battery Power
The Vmic Stereo Mark II runs on two AA batteries (available separately), so your camera or recording device doesn't need to supply plug-in power or phantom power.
